Georgia Bioscience Commercialization Center
The Georgia Bioscience Commercialization Center (GBCC) is a resource hub to create a stronger commercialization infrastructure to help entrepreneurs bring technological innovation from bench to market. Business Incubators
Business incubators provide space and laboratory facilities, training, business support and connections and sometimes limited management consulting to help entrepreneurs develop new ventures. The following resources are available in the Atlanta area.
Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC)Sponsored by the State of Georgia and located on the Georgia Tech campus, ATDC is a nationally recognized technology-based business incubator that helps Georgia entrepreneurs launch and build successful companies. ATDC provides office and lab space and strategic business advice. ATDC also connects its member companies to the people and resources they need to succeed.
Innovation Factory
Located in Duluth, Ga., The Innovation Factory provides companies with a broad array of services including business incubator services, business formation, financing, staffing, product development, prototyping, regulatory assistance and clinical testing.
Technology Enterprise Park
Located in the heart of Atlanta's biotech community, Technology Enterprise Park offers office and lab space and access to immense developmental resources, capabilities and talent. Facilities and experts in fields ranging from bioengineering to nanotechnology are engaged in active partnerships with Technology Enterprise Park firms.
Emtech Bio Incubator
Emtech Bio Incubator was a joint project between Emory and GA Tech. It was located on the Briarcliff Campus of Emory University. It offered office space, biomedical laboratory facilities and access to research and technology commercialization support at Emory. Emtech Bio was operational from June 2000 until August 2010.
